The question of whether leaders are born or made has long been debated. However, the focus has now shifted to viewing leadership as a continuous process that involves a combination of inherent traits and learned skills. This shift is encouraging for individuals who aspire to become effective leaders, as it suggests that leadership can be developed and honed over time. Rather than being solely dependent on natural abilities, leadership can be cultivated and improved through deliberate effort and experience. This viewpoint acknowledges that while some individuals may possess certain innate qualities that contribute to their leadership potential, everyone has the opportunity to develop and enhance their leadership abilities through learning and practice. This understanding opens up possibilities for individuals to strive for personal growth and improvement in their leadership skills, regardless of their initial talents or background.
